Wealth Management, Mortgage Analysis & Reporting Manager, Vice President

The Analysis & Reporting Manager will join a global reporting & analytics team, delivering business-line focused operations analysis and MIS, defining and automating key metrics, and becoming a subject matter expert in operations data and processes. This high-visibility role will interface with operations and market senior managers to develop a wide range of programs focused on improving efficiency, service, and control. The ideal candidate will possess management experience in large-scale business operations, expertise in advanced reporting/analytics tools and techniques, and a strong aptitude for analyzing large, complex data sets to deliver high quality reporting to senior managers.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute a strategic agenda to provide analytical & management reporting support for loan operations businesses, implementing programs that will improve operational controls, efficiency, and the client experience
+ Manage an operations volume capacity and forecasting model to ensure appropriate business readiness and staff utilization relative to expected volume patterns
+ Define, monitor, and report key operational metrics (KPIs); implement and manage balanced scorecards at the employee, team, and department levels
+ Partner with Technology leaders to drive a strategic data quality, sourcing, and metrics development agenda
+ Prepare a monthly executive management business review presentation
+ Management of analysts in the US and abroad
+ 10+ years of experience, preferably across diverse Finance/MIS/Analytical and Operations Management roles. Proven history of delivering timely, high quality, senior manager-level reporting and analysis from diverse, complex data sources
+ Strong data analysis/quantitative/technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new metrics, processes, and datasets
+ 4-5+ years MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 2005/2008 Report Builder experience
+ Experience with other various Business Intelligence toolsets: SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS), Qlikview, Business Objects, SAS, etc
+ Expert level ability in all MS Office tools (Excel, Pivot Tables, Access, VBA, PowerPoint) as well as in SQL query development is expected
+ Experience developing complex Excel-based models
+ Excellent communication ability with strong attention to detail
+ BS/BA in MIS or a quantitative discipline; MBA preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
