Hiring Line Cooks and Dishwashers

Grill 89 is a new casual dining experience located in Westmont, IL. We specialize in American cuisine with a modern twist. We are currently looking to bring new talent to our kitchen team.

Cook:


Job Description: Assist with the organization, preparation and service on the line according to the instructions. Ensure culinary preparation of all menu items to established Recipes and proper handling / storage of all foods according to standards. Teamwork and a positive attitude are a must and they are a very important part of the culture!

Dishwasher:


General description of the work: Wash all dishes, pots, pans, utensils and glassware effectively, while minimizing breakage. Assist with food preparation as directed by the Administration. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen, restaurant and bar areas. Machine and manual Wash all porcelain, glass, pots, pans, utensils, equipment (portable and stationary) and the entire floor, the ceiling of the wall and other work surfaces. Maintain a clean, dry, orderly and safe work environment.

Job Overview: Wash all dishes, pots, pans, service ware and glassware effectively while minimizing breakage. Assist with food preparation as directed by Management. Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of the kitchen, restaurant and bar areas. Machine & Manual Wash all china, glass, pots, pans, utensils, equipment (both portable and stationary) and all floor, wall ceiling and other work surfaces. Maintain a clean, dry, orderly and safe work environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
