Territory Sales Manager

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager in the Chicago area. If you're currently in outside sales, calling on end users and distributors for industrial applications, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for! Previous industrial sales experience is required, Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
Position Summary:
The Territory Manager will be responsible for growing sales and customer relationships in IL, Western KY and Eastern IA; with the majority of time spent in Chicago. Will promote our broad product offering, providing market based solutions to our customers while providing excellent customer service that supports our customers before, during and after the sale. Maintains and increases sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available services, supplies, prices and new products. Person will be required to regularly visit distributors, end users, and customers, and plan activities weekly/monthly based on need.

Primary Responsibilities:
Grow and maintain customer relationships within assigned territory
Create and deliver presentations to distributors and end users
Visit distributors and end users and promote target products
Plan sales activities on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
Document activities in Salesforce
Travel 50% of the time or more
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to listen to and interpret customer needs and provide sales solutions
Ability to think mechanically; mechanical aptitude
Ability to establish and build relationships with customers
Excellent time management skills
Self-starter, highly motivated
Strong computer skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
