Responsibilities:
As the first person patients encounter, you must be friendly, professional and create a welcoming environment.
You will have a very important position in our practice and represent our office to those who first walk in the door.
The primary patient care coordinator is responsible for handling all patient flow.
A wide variety of duties include but not limited to:
Monitor the status of patients and the flow of tasks through all relevant departments.
Proactively track pending, ongoing, and completed tasks to ensure that each patient receives optimal care.
Communicate with patients, physicians, staff and members of all departments involved in the delivery of care.
Provide administrative and clinical support to physicians and staff members.
Communicate with insurance companies and bill for services provided to patients.
